Who can open a business account online?

To apply for a St.George business account online, your Business and/or Company must be registered in Australia.

The following business entities can apply for a business account online:

• Sole Trader
• Partnership
• Company

Information you'll need to complete your online application

• Business information including ABN and/or ACN and business Tax File Number
• Each person(s) authorised to operate on the account will be asked to provide their name, address and position within the Business / Company and for existing St.George customers with Internet Banking, their Personal Internet Banking log on details
• Business Internet Banking log on details (existing St.George customers with Business Internet Banking only)

Here's what to expect

• It will take 10 – 20 minutes to complete your application
• If you don’t have all the information, you can save a partially completed application and return to it within 30 days from the time you first save it
• Existing St.George customers registered for Internet Banking can use their St.George Internet Banking log on details to save time when filling out an application
• Once submitted, you will receive an email confirming that we have received your application
• In the coming days you will receive an information pack in the mail. This will have all the details needed to complete the final steps to get your account up and running in no time
• To check the status of your online application at any time you will need your application number (issued at the end of your application) and the password, which you will nominate
• The account will then be opened and you will be able to operate on the account once we have received all completed forms and required documentation. If you aren’t already a St.George customer you may need to complete an identification check
